Just outside Traiguera, 12 km from the Mas, lies the Font de la Salut monastery, somewhat hidden in the hills amidst the greenery. Right next door is Casa dels Capellans, where excellent cuisine is served in a classic, robust style.

Font de Sant Pere, La Senia

Just outside La Senia, on the way to the Embalse de Ulldecona reservoir, you'll find Font de Sant Pere. Beautifully situated above a mountain stream, or a riverbed if it's been dry for a long time. Good food, reasonable prices.

El Nautic, Les Cases de Alcanar

Just north of Vinaròs, across the border with Catalonia, lies the fishing village of Les Cases de Alcanar. Here you'll find a selection of fish restaurants, including El Nautic, right by the marina. The cuisine is excellent, featuring not only fish but also meat and poultry.

Mar Blava, Benicarló

In the northern corner of Benicarló, situated on a pebble beach. Open only in summer, it's mainly an outdoor terrace. But it does offer creative dishes of excellent quality!

Muva Beach, Peñiscola

Muva Beach is nestled against the old castle, on the edge of the northern beach. Located above the beach café "Entre Dos Aguas," you can enjoy excellent cuisine on the terrace overlooking the water in the summer.

Rojo Picota, Peñiscola

Vinoteca Rojo Picota, a bodega and tapas restaurant. A unique wine selection, available by the bottle to take away, and a wide selection by the glass in the restaurant. The tapas are excellent and certainly a bit more special than the standard offerings you often find.
