The location of Mas del Rey

Mas del Rey is located in a very rural area, but not isolated.

Roughly halfway between Barcelona and Valencia on the Costa del Azahar, as far from Vinaròs as Benicarló and as close to the Alt Maestrat mountains as the Mediterranean Sea.

We're also close to Peñíscola. Peñíscola is one of the most beautiful villages on the Spanish coast, situated on a rocky peninsula jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea. The town is dominated by the impressive Castillo de Papa Luna, a 14th-century castle that once served as a papal residence. The old town, with its winding streets, whitewashed houses, and artisan shops, exudes a Mediterranean atmosphere that immediately envelops you.

Surrounded by orange groves and olive groves, you can see the sea from the property. From Vinaròs, along the old road to the village of Calig, Mas del Rey is located two kilometers before the village.
